We are a 100% volunteer organization. Volunteers transport, walk, feed, play, socialize, perform lawn care and more! There are many ways one can volunteer to help animals in need. Email us to find out how you can help.
Within Brown County, TX we help people keep their pets by assisting with pet food. We can help one family/address per month.
Fill out this form and we will be with you as soon as we can.
We are dedicated to helping solve the problems of domestic animal overpopulation and high shelter intake by offering financial assistance for spay/neuter "sneuter" and vaccinations as well as assist low income pet owners with issues such as fencing, kennels, food, and shelter to help the animal remain in it's home. We vow to bring awareness to the community by offering complete vetting to companion animals. We are driven to rescue animals left homeless, regardless of reason, from public shelters, owner surrenders, or animals in danger of abuse or neglect. Animals will be placed in loving, responsible and permanent homes following a comprehensive adoption process. We will assist any animal with no regard to age, breed, or ease of placement.
Beginning 12/1/2022 all applications will require a $20 donation. Donation will be deducted from pet adoption fee if applicant follows all guidelines and requirements for adoption. Fee is not negotiable and non-refundable. Make sure you can fulfill all requirements of adoption.
This is NOT an adoption form! We have very few volunteers that foster our dogs and we can always use more!
Typically, we will call when we take in a new dog and the first thing we require is a good bath and physical assessment of the new intake. One of the best perks of fostering for Ploukie's is that if you foster a dog and fall in love with that dog, you have the first option to adopt ahead of everyone else!
